We have 5.5 hectares (organic already 20 years) close to Montemor-O-Novo, Alentejo.
The land consists of olive, fruit trees and arable land.
Basically we are looking for someone willing to farm/maintain the place - for which we offer a lovely equipped house in exchange for vegs/fruit/oil for our household needs. We are open to suggestions from prospective interest.
We are a Dutch/Scottish couple.

Hi, my wife and I are both British, in our 40′s and are living in Canada, we have spent the last 3 years looking for a place to move to and we have finally decided to vist the Azores and portugal to see if like it. Hi, We are extremely interested can you please let us know some more info as what you are offering sounds just what we have been looking for. We are both British in our 30′s, fit and hard working with experience of looking after a 12 acre small holding in Wales with animals. We love Portugal having spent 6 months there last summer traveling around in our van and cant wait to get back over there to live.

This sounds like a wonderful opportunity to be able to tend and live off the land…this is especially great for me since i have been Blesseed with four boys who think that work is taking out the trash while texting their friends,,,I want them to know and learn to appreciate what it is to work and live off the land.
