My most recent disappointment has been in France where the widespread accetance of GMO and the pesticide and mechanisation has become the accepted norm and is regarded as Organic as the farmers here only have to spray once and additions of proteins to parent DNA is not considered as genetic modification !!! I am not permitted to use my own energy supple as the state owned EDF still wants its share of my wealth and my well water is not treated therefore not fit for human consumption. Life is too short to wast time in such a place - others be warned!!! I intend to search out suitable place to do such work and bring my skills and my expertise to a place where it can be appreciated. Perhaps Prtugal is one of the few places in Europe left with the interests of humankind truely at heart - I hope so Ecoliving has been a dream for me since birth.
