We are a (yet small) group, singles and couples, between about 25 and 65 years of age. The one thing we have in common is our desire to move to the north of Portugal, in order to set up -and live/work in- an ecological village.
We are still in the initial phase and think that at this point it is essential that the group expands. A couple of people, no matter how enthusiastic and inspired, are not enough to set up an ecological village. The more people will join us, the greater the chance will be that our dreams will come true!

For the last year I have been researching Portugal,learning the language,studying permaculture and forest design and growing my own food as part of my grand plan to go and live there to create a sacred space where my family and friends can live off grid and as close to nature as possible.
I am now ready to stay in Portugal for a few months and I couldn’t believe how easy life is making it for me. I am interested in coming to visit your little paradise and help in any way that I can for a bit.
I know how hard it is to be a 2 man band,its been the story of my life….

I am a 35 year old male and have recently divorced an American woman having lived in the States for 3 years. I began researching the kind of life I would like for the rest of my days and have decided it’s about time I followed my dream of quite, spiritual, communal eco friendly life with a drama free community.
This is very difficult in the UK and the weather is awful. Seems Portugal is about the best place in Europe to live my dream. Am planning to work in the UK doing residential care work for a while to raise some money and then spend some time in Portugal and start learning Portuguese.
Would be happy to hear from like minded folk who need to band together to realize their dream.
