Wool Spinning for beginners

Full day course with lunch and all materials

40 euros per person (max 4 people)

 

Hand spinning is a dying craft not only in Portugal but all over the world. The texture, lustre and feel of hand spun wool is something quite unique, and we hope to be a part of this art form’s revival, and make it readily available to everyone.

O preço é donativo. É melhor se você levar sua própria máquina de costura. Haverá a oportunidade de aprender a usar a sua máquina, fazer reparos, fazer cortinas, almofadas, roupas, etc.

In May we will start a monthly sewing studio in the Kapingbdi Bar.  We would like all the interested people to be able to come, so please let us know when it suits you best.  It will be donation based.  It’s good if you bring your own sewing machine.  There will be the opportunity to learn how to use your machine, repairs, make curtains, cushions, clothes, etc.  Contact: leen van melle 238601326
